Augusta Zadow Award

In 1999 the school received the prestigious Augusta Zadow Award, from the Government, for its proven track record in improving the occupational health and safety of divers as a direct result of its training activities. Such recognition is only awarded after long and careful scrutiny of an organisations policies and procedures and most importantly by careful analysis of the actual improvements in OH&S in the industries which employ the schools graduates.

Churchill Fellowship

Martin Phillips was awarded a Churchill Fellowship in 2006, to study methods of diver training delivery used by overseas government accredited facilities. The aim being  to identifying areas of benefit which could be incorporated into the Australian training format with special emphasis on occupational health and safety.
